I used to have autoglass insurance as part of my basic policy. When I switched carriers, I lost it. I just recently thought I had a big chip (it turned out to be some kind of clear goo, probably tree sap) and was debating whether to get it again. Your article lets me know that as long as I have a few bucks in my emergency fund, I don't need this kind of insurance. Thanks!

I live in NYC and I think glass coverage is the best thing on Earth. Already got my money worth for it, so it's one thing in your series I have to disagree with.
