I was thinking about renting an apartment and renting out my home. May sound crazy but no one is going to buy my home because of the neighborhood. I purchased a new construction home 7 years ago, now I want a better neighborhood and school system and I don't know what else to do! I knew all this when I purchased but I received so many incentives I overlooked these most important items, now I'm stuck. Financially what is most important?

Is your neighborhood deserted? There are people living around there right? I think for the right price / incentive someone will buy.

No it is not deserted, I have older neighbors and live across the street from a rec center. There is alot of poverty in this area, it is much better then a couple of years ago, there a many projects that are going on to bring the neighborhood back, but is going to take time. When I purchased I was told about 5-10 years.
