TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works

TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works is an all-in-one video encoding software suitable for professionals and amateurs alike, featuring high-quality encoding, advanced editing or filtering functions, support for various input/output formats/devices/clip cutting features etc. Now upgraded to version 6, with more functionalities and usability improvements such as supporting more audio formats, Timeline Edit Mode improvements and an automatic bit rate calculator! Plus much more!

The Normal Mode of TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works provides an effortless means of converting a single file, linking several files together and encoding them in various formats. Meanwhile, Timeline Edit Mode enables more creative editing with features like picture-in-picture, animation transforming effects and title inserting; more precise cuts; as well as detailed cut edit functions. Both modes may be utilized simultaneously without losing editing results if clips move between Normal Mode and Timeline Edit modes during editing sessions.

Denoise to color correction filters are included with this software, along with various effects such as blur, sharpen, mosaic and chroma key to make your videos more unique. Furthermore, text or image subtitles and animation transitions between clips such as fade in/out, wipe, slide and dissolve can also be added for further personalization.

An enhanced Timeline Mode makes viewing and comparing final composition results much simpler by showing the original source movie/picture on both monitors while providing a preview that displays editing or filtering results in real time on Timeline Preview monitor. This function cannot be found elsewhere on the market.

Timeline Mode now also features the “Clip Properties/File History” function, providing fast access to clips’ properties and files. Previously only available in Normal Mode, this greatly enhances convenience when working with multiple composition elements such as HDR editing, color correction or chromakey editing.

Other improvements include the ability to search a scene by clicking on its thumbnail strip in quick-scrolling thumbnail view, detecting aspect ratio and switching vertical video settings for YouTube or mobile phone output, as well as supporting Intel(r) Media Quick Sync Video decoder along with NVIDIA CUDA decoder in CPU environments as well as H.265/HEVC decoding with GPU support. Finally, H.265/HEVC decoding capability now also supports GPU environments.

TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works supports Log curves from major cameras such as Canon, Sony and Fujifilm when creating original projects or importing multi-structured files such as Blu-rays, AVCHD or MPEG-2 TS files, enabling users to start editing immediately after import without having to set LUTs separately or set PID settings separately for MPEG-2 TS container output. Furthermore, there is support for arbitrarily set PID settings within MPEG-2 TS containers for output.
